YOUR TASKS
- Competent and sensitive advice & recommendation of wines, as well as with the beverage and food choices
- Putting together the wine assortment with our Head Sommelier
- Co-designing the wine list & the weekly recommendation with our Head Sommelier
- Control of wine deliveries and professional storage
- Entering the world of sake
- Tasting, preparing and serving wines appropriately
- Conducting wine tastings with our guests
- Carrying out staff training in the field of wines
- Various mise en place tasks
- Coordination of your work area
- Organisation of a smooth service process
- Carrying out bookings and accounting independently and on your own responsibility
- Leading and instructing subordinate staff
- Compliance with quality standards
YOU SHOULD PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING
- Completed sommelier qualification in the upscale hotel industry with proven professional experience in a comparable position
- Professional expertise in classic serving techniques and procedures
- Independent and efficient working style
- Excellent product knowledge and communication skills
- Host mentality
- Very good knowledge of German and/or English, both written and spoken
- Friendly and cordial manner

A minimum salary according to the collective agreement for hotels and restaurants applies. There is a possibility of overpayment depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
